Palo Alto Café is a staple in the community and always provides the best drinks, food, and experience. Whether you are looking to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or pick out a book from their sci fi bookshelf and read, Palo Alto Café has the perfect ambience. All of the staff is kind and accommodating! Their peachy day smoothie is my favorite, and their pastries are excellent as well.

Amazing neighborhood cafe. It's cozy, unassuming and well situated in a cute Plaza in midtown Palo Alto. The breakfast items are all delicious and well prepared, they roast their beans in house in a corner of the cafe and you may get lucky to be there while they do it, great aroma and a nice touch. The place is run by a wonderful couple, they welcome their usual guests by name and treat the newcomers with much warmth and happiness. It is my happy place to go to go to start my day.

I was in town for a baseball series. My Air BnB was around the corner within walking distance to this little gem. Amazing place! Loved their coffee and food but most of all, they were amazing humans! Thanks for being such gracious breakfast hosts to this Georgia girl every morning and making that caramel macchiato for me. When I’m back in town, I plan to visit again!

You can tell when you walk in that this is a well-established fixture in Palo Alto. The breakfast menu is limited, but the food is made fresh and the ingredients were whole and healthy. And the coffee is very good, which makes sense since they advertise coffee from around the world and have a big roaster sitting off to the side. The veggie omelet had a good number of veggies and was accompanied by a bagel and a cup of fruit. Although I was hungry I couldn't finish it all. They are generous with the coffee, and I also needed a to go cup for that. The seasoning on the omelet was pretty tame, but they provide salt and pepper, along with Tapatio got sauce to spice it up for those who like a little more flavor. The counter service was courteous, and attentive, and our orders were correct.

Some places never really leave you. This café is one of those places for me. I have many warm memories connected with this café. We used to live nearby, and when my kids were little I would often walk here with a stroller, sit down with a cup of coffee, relax, and have a small bite. I also came here many times with a friend and our kids. Later we often stopped by with my husband while our children were attending their sports classes nearby. What makes this place special is that they roast coffee right inside the café. There is a large roasting machine, and you can smell the fresh coffee as soon as you walk in. The café also has shelves with books that you can read while sitting with your coffee. The walls are decorated with paintings and interesting details that make the place feel warm and cozy.
